There are hundreds of photographs of Native Americans in Sumner W. Matteson's opus from 1897 through 1908, or later, that can be discovered by long time research to unearth the images, locations of the photographs, and negatives. Many of these are at the Smithsonian, the Chicago Field Museum, the Milwaukee Public Museum, the Science Museum of Minnesota, and in private hands, as well as the library collections of numerous universities. I am the co-author of the book SIDE TRIPS - THE PHOTOGRAPHY OF SUMNER W. MATTESON 1898-1909, published jointly by the Science Museum of MN, and the Public Museum of Milwaukee. I am unable to tell from this item if you have produced a catalog of images. If so, I am interested in obtaining one. Phillips Bourns, Saint Paul, Minnesota.
