Nice Italian restaurant in Bond street. Doesn’t feel crammed and it’s lively so it’s good to eat here then go out.

porchétta [por'ketta] n. roasted pork with crispy skin, highly seasoned with aromatic herbs and spices, garlic, sage, rosemary and wild fennel pollen. Typical plate of the Roman cuisine. Slow cooked Italian fast food.
get the porchetta sandwich and the crispy potatoes and burnt ends. oh and they deliver.

People of the Fat Radish opened a new restaurant in the lower east side:
“There’s a built-in piano where performers will show several times a week, and requestable vintage records will play the rest of the time — including the occasional track from Blues legend Leadbelly, i.e., Huddie William Ledbetter, himself.
The food menu (overseen by Ben Towill and executed by chef Nicholas Wilber) offers East and West Coast oysters, and bar snacks including a beet tarte tatin and a Maine-mussels pot pie with leeks and Heritage smoked bacon. Really good music, food and the beet root crumble with goat cheese is delicious. The cocktails and the donuts too.
